Started out as a planned formula training session but having riged and walked to water things looked to have gone all 'bodmin' on me ... wind dropped a bit, swung more onshore and over head high surf was rolling in, certainly where I needed to be to lauch my formula kit ... rapid U turn and grabbed the surfboard and had some fun catching waves for hour or so.
I was certainly surprised at size of the waves given the apparent sheltered nature of Pentewan, but hey .... was a nice surprise !
